In this Innovative Technologies in Automotive Engineering - Summer School at RWTH Aachen University, you debate alternative and electrified vehicle propulsion systems, examine automated driving and work on a case study. You even get to meet a student formula team. They present their work on self-built race cars with alternative propulsion systems to you.

The programme fees amount to 3,350 EUR for the three-week summer school programme.

Academic content
In this Summer School, you explore the fundamentals of automotive engineering, mobile propulsion and modern automotive technologies.
On the one hand, you debate alternative and electrified vehicle propulsion systems. On the other hand, you examine automated driving and work on a case study. You even get to meet a student formula team. They present their work on self-built race cars with alternative propulsion systems to you.

Audience
Every year we welcome students from all over the world. You can become part of our international student community if you are:
- at least 18 years old
- in your Bachelor's, Master's, in between or recently graduated
- proficient in the English language
Lecturers
The Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) and the Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Conversion Systems (tme) conduct the academic content.
