About

Through practical work on a real life problem the student will learn about issues pertinent to the arctic region within one or more of the areas of civil engineering, energy and environmental engineering.

The DTU Summer University stay comprises:

  • Thoroughly prepared academic and scientific course contents

  • Welcome party for all Summer University students
  • Social events in an international atmosphere

After passing the course the student is awarded a certificate and ascribed 3-5 ECTS study credits, which may be transferred to the students current study program.

Departure from Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) to Greenland is Monday July 30, 7am, so be sure to arrive to Copenhagen before this time e.g. Sunday 29th.

Academic Requirements

One or more courses in the field the student wants to study in an Arctic context. Both students on BSc and MSc level may apply

Tuition Fee Per Year

This includes travel between Copenhagen and Greenland as well as accommodation and food in Sisimiut, Greenland.
