Our BA Business Management (Innovation) course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to build a successful management career in a wide range of businesses, governmental and third sector organisations. In addition to studying the theory that underpins modern business principles, you will also develop your leadership skills and ability to analyse, plan and solve business and management problems – transferrable skills that are welcomed in the workplace.
The first year has been designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the key business functions, providing the foundation on which to build your specialist expertise; however your subsequent years will focus on your specialised innovation pathway.
You will gain a solid grounding in innovation theory and application which will enable you to manage innovation issues in a wide range of sectors and environments to contribute to business effectiveness. It will also explore the expectations and behaviour of stakeholders and how organisations operate in terms of their functions, structure and management. The range of topics you will cover across business, management and innovation will enhance your practical and and also arm you with the ability to solve business and management problems by creating and evaluating solutions.
Professional recognition This course is recognised by the Chartered Management Institute and on successful completion of the course you will be an Associate member of CMI. Once you have gained relevant work experience you may upgrade to a full member.

We normally make offers on a minimum of 260 UCAS tariff points, plus GCSE Maths and English Language at grade C. BTEC National Diploma/International Baccalaureate/Advanced Progression Diplomas at equivalent tariff. Access to HE - Pass. You must have competence in English language and we normally require Grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification. The most common English Language requirements for international students are IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all four components) or TOEFL internet based 72 (with at least 17 in listening & writing, 20 in speaking and 18 in reading).
Middlesex also offers an Intensive Academic English course (Pre-Sessional) that ranges from 5-17 weeks depending on your level of English.
