Overview

At University of Twente, we believe in innovative methods and multidisciplinary work. We focus on innovative and multidisciplinary design, design for behavior change and co-creation methods. In relation, in the Construct the Future course offered by University of Twente (UT), students will be informed about and work with a variety of methods and topics in the broad field of design, ranging from human centered design to designing for smart interactive products.

Course aim

  • Applying knowledge and gaining hands-on experience to improve people’s experience with products and technology
  • Design a concept by evaluating the models and frameworks discussed throughout the course
  • Identify opportunities to influence product experience through design
  • Become a broader design engineer and develop your creative and science-based skills.

  • The summer school is focused on Bachelor’s students in their second to last or last year, and entry level Master’s students, but is also open for anyone with broad interests and an inquisitive mind.
