The programme
- The Introduction to Health Policy and Management course at University of California, Berkeley is intended to introduce students to health policy making and health care organizations in the United States.
Programme Structure
Students will be introduced to concepts from public policy, economics, organizational behavior, and political science. Students will also be introduced to current issues in U.S. health policy and the present organization of the U.S. health care system.
Hours & Workload
- 8 hours of instructor presentation of course materials per week, 14 hours of outside work hours per week, and 2 hours of the exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.
