To earn the York University Post-degree Certificate in Human Resources Management, you will successfully complete all 10 courses.

The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. The minimum IELTS score requirement refers to which Overall Band Score you received, which is your combined average score. Read more about IELTS.Take IELTS test
The CAE test – or the Cambridge Advanced English – is an exam for applicants who wish to get a Certificate in Advanced English. To receive the Advanced certificate, test-takers must score between 142 and 210 on the Cambridge English: Advanced test. Read more about CAE.

The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading). There is an application fee of $79 payable upon submission of your application. Applicants will be notified directly if additional information or documentation is required by the Program Manager.Conditional offers of admission will be issued within one month of receiving a complete application including an electronic copy of transcripts. If you have been issued a conditional offer, a sealed hard copy of official transcripts must be mailed to the School of Continuing Studies no later than July 25, 2016. Final offers will be issued upon receipt of official transcripts.
The English Language Admission Requirements for the Program are an IELTS 6.5 or better. Students with a IELTS 6.5 or better will be required to complete a Canadian Academic & Business English and Mastering Canadian Business English course prior to commencement of the program.International students with an IELTS score of 5.0 or less should contact us to learn more about programs that can prepare you to meet the language proficiency requirements for this program.
