Moreover, it was developed to become a Certified Cost Technician (CCT) professional, prior to obtaining the prerequisite of 8 years of relevant experience to become certified as a Cost Professional (CCP).

Certified Cost Technician (CCT) – differences with Certified Cost Professional (CCP)The AACE International portfolio of certificates includes a Technician (Certified Cost Technician) and a Professional (Certified Cost Professional) level. The initial difference between the two is the minimum years of experience and/or level of education, required to be eligible to take one of both exams. A major difference is - apart from the contents of the exam - the technical paper you have to write before you can enroll for the Certified Cost Professional (CCP) exam.
