The Pre-University Summer School programme at King's College London provides the opportunity to study a chosen subject at undergraduate level and helps students prepare for their future at university and beyond. Students are able to become familiar with the British higher education system and benefit from the world-class teaching King’s is renowned for.
Students can choose one of the following courses:
Into Space: Exploring Space Through Science
Politics and International Relations: From Grassroots to Global Impact
The programme is open to independent high-achieving students who are just about to start or who are enrolled within their final two years of high school and therefore are typically aged 16 and 17.
Students must be 16 as of 1 September. We also welcome applications from students who are 18 or over, however they will be unable to take part in the full residential and social programme.
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
StudyPortals Tip: Students can search online for independent or external scholarships that can help fund their studies. Check the scholarships to see whether you are eligible to apply. Many scholarships are either merit-based or needs-based.
Together with the ISIC Association and British Council IELTS, StudyPortals offers you the chance to receive up to £10000 to expand your horizon and study abroad. We want to ultimately encourage you to study abroad in order to experience and explore new countries, cultures and languages.
