The Pre-University Summer School programme at King's College London provides the opportunity to study a chosen subject at undergraduate level and helps students prepare for their future at university and beyond. Students are able to become familiar with the British higher education system and benefit from the world-class teaching King’s is renowned for.


It is an intensive two-week programme, combining academic classes, class excursions, university preparation advice and wider skills sessions. Students can also enjoy a varied social programme which takes advantage of King's enviable central London location and gives students time to relax with new friends from around the world.

Academic Requirements

  • The programme is open to independent high-achieving students who are just about to start or who are enrolled within their final two years of high school and therefore are typically aged 16 and 17. 
  • Students must be 16 as of 1 September. We also welcome applications from students who are 18 or over, however they will be unable to take part in the full residential and social programme.
