Overview
This English for Families course offered by Torquay International School is only available when at least one parent/guardian enrols on a course that coincides with the junior schedule ie General English 15 or MAX 4 courses.
Aims and objectives
Students will develop the confidence to initiate conversations, express themselves with increasing accuracy both in the spoken and written word, and expand their vocabulary at an appropriate level .
Progression routes
Children can move on to study for the Starters, Movers and Flyers Young Learners’ Cambridge Examinations, or for older children the KET, PET and FCE for Schools qualifications.
Programme Structure
- Our organised programme of afternoon activities will enable students to learn about British culture, practise the social English that they have developed in the classroom, and make friends with fellow students from all over the world.
