Overview

The participants in the Digital Transformation For Resilient Cities programme from EIT Digital Master School will visit the organisations and will interview different stakeholders.

The end goal is to provide scenarios and solutions that address concrete problems of stakeholders, developed with the help of digital technologies.

A key factor in safety of a city is resilience towards natural disasters e.g. heavy weather, earth quakes, building fires, but also towards man-made events e.g. terrorist attacks.

Adding IT technologies to existing disaster management approaches will allow new ways of decentralised and collaborative communication and coordination, data and event recording and replay, and post-event analysis.
