To realize gender equality in health care, sex and gender dimension needs to be integrated in all aspects of research and clinical practice.
The Gender and Health course from Erasmus University Rotterdam will focus on the critical health issues for women and men through the life cycle, challenges of integrating sex and gender from the health research, practice, and policy perspectives, as well as strategies to address these challenges.
Our main purpose is to provide participants interested in improving gender-equal health and well-being with essential knowledge and principle skills from several disciplines.

The course is suitable for undergraduate medical students, clinicians, health scientists, and those contemplating or doing a Masters or PhD in a related area.

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
The ZonMw Gender and Health Knowledge Program will provide 20 Gender in Research Fellowships for PhD-students and post-doctoral trainees to attend the Gender and Health course and participate in the Gender in Research workshop at the Erasmus Summer Programme from 19-23 August in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
