English proficiency is determined during orientation at the time the student arrives at UC San Diego English Language Institute (ELI). Students who do not obtain the required English level for English for Pharmaceutical Studies will take Conversation and Fluency (beginner, low-intermediate, and intermediate levels).

  • Participants must have previously taken an anatomy/physiology course.
  • Except for our Youth Programs, you must be 18 years old to enroll in our international programs. Seventeen-year-old students may be admitted when accompanied by an adult guardian and when the parents submit a letter attesting to the student's maturity.
