During the Certificate in Kitchen Design programme at Kitchen Design Academy, students will:
- become familiar with properties of colour, main colourharmonies and colour schemes in kitchens starting with the 1950’s.
- be introduced to construction methods for cabinets, materialsused, types of units from standard to specialized, bench top and splash backmaterials and hardware companies.
- will analyze the the impact of appliances in the design of thekitchens and you will research appliance brands.

General requirements
Kitchen Design Academy Online requires the followings materials at enrollment time:
- A4 and A3 pads with drawing paper,
- A3 pads with scale paper
- set squares 45-90-45 degree and 30-60-90 – Mechanical pencil (clutch pencil) with .5mm leads HB and B
- Pencil eraser
- Correction fluid
- Drafting pens in the following nib sizes .5mm, and .1mm.
- A protractor
- A scale ruler which is 300mm long and includes 1:20, 1:50 and 1:100
- Templates – circles and squares
Technological requirements
- an up-to-date computer with a fast processor and CD/DVD drive.
- High-speed Internet access and a personal e-mail address.
- Word processing program (Microsoft Word) and Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Digital image manipulation programs, graphics editors and a specialized kitchen design software (optional).
- Peripherals needed for this course are printers, scanners and digital cameras.
Tuition Fee
Administration fee of AUD$100 - 68 USD payable once, regardless the number of module you want to take
