Overview
The Injection Therapy course from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is suitable for physiotherapists, GPs, doctors, occupational therapists, podiatrists, nurses and other allied health professionals working in orthopaedics, rheumatology, neurological and musculoskeletal (MSK) patient management.
We’re offering routes for both neurological injection (botulinum toxin) and joint and soft tissue injection (steroid injections). On the course there are some joint sessions, as well as both subject specialist theory and practical sessions.
You’ll discuss and share your experiences and practices to help facilitate and debate critical evaluation of contemporary clinical issues in injection therapy practice.
Why study with us
Our course runs over five taught days with a three-day block and a two-day block, to allow easier release from your workplace.
We invite external speakers to contribute on the wider issues of injection therapy practice and development across both the MSK and neuro specialities.
You’ll have good access to experienced and currently practicing tutors.
