What are the Jinn according to the Quran, what is the chapter of Jinn talking about, and more importantly what can we learn from this chapter and apply to our lives? The Jinn course at Al-Mahdi Institute shall attempt to answer these and many other questions by examining chapter 72 of the Qur’an entitled al-Jinn.

Overview

During The Jinn course at Al-Mahdi Institute, students will not only be introduced to the major themes and contents of this chapter, its teachings and interrelated topics, but also provided a glimpse into the traditional methods of Qur’anic exegesis.

Key facts:

 By the end of this course, students are expected to have gained a better understanding of the way in which the Qur’an employs language and historical context to convey its message, as well a greater appreciation of the Qur’anic interplay between theology, law and ethics.

Programme Structure

Curriculum:

  • The classes are delivered by instructors who are experts in their respective fields and passionate about providing high quality education. 
  • In addition to teaching the short course modules, many of the instructors also deliver classes on the Hawza Programme. 
  • Short Courses available in the past have included Tafsir of the holy Qur’an, Arabic and Persian Language courses.
