
Taught through pre-recorded video sessions and a dedicated Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), the courses are designed to introduce you to new subjects or further your studies in familiar topics.
You will have access to a number of academic resources and can engage with your Course Directors and fellow students on online forums.

Course content will normally amount to around 1.5hrs per day across the 5 days, comprising material delivered by the Course Director, reading/activities, and discussions on the course discussion forum. You may need to complete reading or any other preparation suggested in advance of the course.

The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. The minimum IELTS score requirement refers to which Overall Band Score you received, which is your combined average score. Read more about IELTS.
Alternatively, you may have undertaken all, or part, of your education in English and/or may have extensive experience using English on a regular basis in your professional life. On this basis, you could reasonably expect to fully participate in our Virtual Winter Festival of Learning.
Courses cost £149 each. Anyone signing up for one or more courses gets free access to the talks.
