Key Facts
You will be awarded a certificate of attendance by the University of Warwick upon completion of the WSS Experience programme (subject to meeting attendance requirements), issued after the programme ends. In addition to an attendance certificate, if you sit the optional course assessment, you will also be sent an official University of Warwick transcript of results which can often be used for credit transfer at your home institution.
Programme Structure
Programme Structure:
- Each course offered at the Summer School contains 60 hours of teaching - these hours of study include lectures, seminars/workshops, revision classes, guest lectures and study groups. You are also expected to complete 90 hours of independent study throughout the programme.
- All courses also have an optional assessment which is usually a two hour exam on the final day of the programme. Some of our courses assess students via other methods such as coursework or presentations, please see each course webpage for further information. Towards the end of the final week, there will be revision classes for courses which have an examination.

- To apply for any of our courses on offer, you must be aged 18+ and have a good understanding of the English language.
- Our Summer School courses are taught in English so students must be able to demonstrate a good level of English language and comprehension. We assess students' English ability through their application and correspondence.
