About

The course will introduce you to basic Russian and will help to develop your reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills in Russian.

Overview

At the end of the course, participants can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. The participant can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. He/she can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Programme Structure

During the classes, we will cover such topics as introducing yourself, hobbies, time and season of the year, weather, school life, visiting shops and cafes. There will be online sessions once a week with a variety of materials provided by the teacher.
