- How the internetwork communication happens and when to employ IP routing concepts.
- Ethernet LAN fundamentals, how the standards come together when designing a network and factors to consider when designing a small network.
- LAN switching concepts and how to secure switch ports in a functional network.
- How to configure, verify and troubleshoot network devices like routers, and switches to achieve the required network functionality.
