Overview
The Modelling Sanitation Systems course at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education is designed for professionals actively involved in the urban water cycle and/or wastewater treatment or those who have an interest in model application from a research point of view.
Learning objectives
- Describe and classify urban drainage, sewerage and treatment processes and systems
- Demonstrate and analyse the possibilities, potential and mechanisms of mathematical models for research, design or optimization for wastewater collection and wastewater treatment systems
- Construct the appropriate model for a specific case and check and debate the modelling result
