Learning objectives for the Building Resilient Systems in Fragile Context course at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education
Reflect on the resilience opportunities to improve/safeguard the functioning of a WASH system of your choice through preparedness, climate adaptation, market-based interventions and social inclusion approaches.
Design a resilience-based strategy to deal with the uncertainties and risks in a case study by analysing the main problems of the WASH system, the interdependencies between the multiple system dimensions and building blocks.
Identify the opportunities and challenges of implementing a resilience approach in a fragile context. Share your experiences and considerations for the course content through active participation in the course activities and timely submission of the course assignments.

- You are required to complete Units 1 to 5 of the Building a Better Response online training before the start of the course.
- This free training consists of 5 self-paced units covering (some of) the basic humanitarian system structures and should take between 8-10 hours to complete.
