The aim of this Introduction to Metalwork and Welding course at the University of the Arts London (UAL) is to inspire and equip you with the skills to make and finish your own project which you can take home.

Topics covered:
  • You will be taught how to confidently weld and use all of the machinery commonly found in well-equipped metal workshops. 
  • Demonstrations will be given of how to create different surface textures and finishes, how to bend and make shapes from metal alongside professional fabrication techniques for construction of realised ideas.
