While at The London Film School's 6-day Absolute Beginners - Practical Skills For Getting A Start In The Art Dept. you’ll also gain a vital insight into how an Art Department is organised and how it relates to all the other departments on a Film or TV production through actual case studies.
This is an exciting and intense six days of pure practical experience and revelation. Under Fleur Whitlock’s guidance, each participant will receive the one-to-one assistance they need to make the most of their time at LFS.

General requirements
- Completed online application form
- CV/Resume
- Personal statement (up to 750 words)
- A description of your life up to the point of applying for the course (max. 1000 words)
- A short film script (no more than 12-15 pages)
- A synopsis for an original feature film (no more than 2 pages)
- Three additional original feature ideas (no more than 1 page per idea)
- Applicants whose first language is not English may also be required to provide proof of proficiency in English.
