About the course
ABA principles and procedures are applicable across a wide range of human services, especially in the assistance and treatment of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
This Behavioural Interventions certificate at MacEwan University - School of Continuing Education is of benefit to individuals working in psychology, education, social work and health. Upon completion of this program, students will have met the course requirements set by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

- Applicants must have completed or be actively enrolled in MacEwan’s PSYC 385 Introduction to Applied Behaviour Analysis or equivalent.
- Course requirements for the BICA certificate also include MacEwan’s PSYC 281 Principles of Behaviour or equivalent; however, transfer students who do not have this course or equivalent will be permitted to complete it later in the program.
