What will I achieve?
By the end of this Pharmacoepidemiology and Global Affairs course at King's College London students will be able to:
- Recognise the global public health challenges
- Appreciate the challenges of manufacturing, selling and marketing medicines for the global healthcare marketplace
- Design effective data collection and reporting strategies for global pharmacovigilance
- Generate advocacy strategies for influencing policy and decision makers globally
- Apply pharmacoeconomic evaluation to derive cost effective purchase lists

This module aims to give students knowledge of:- Pharmacoepidemiology; global medical affairs; public health challenges; best practice for global health; delivering high standards of health globally
- Global healthcare marketplace; sale and marketing of medicines
- Global pharmacovigilance; design of effective data collection and reporting strategies

- Payer use of pharmacoeconomic evaluation to select which medicines to buy
