About the course
Imagineering is about "Imagining" and "Engineering" the Future. “Imagining the Future” equips the participants with Foresights/Future Thinking perspective to prepare the corporations for the disruptive future, through the process of signals and drivers identification and scenario design.
“Engineering the Future” equips the participants with Backcast/System Thinking perspective for the corporations to design the Minimum Viable Ecosystem (MVE) through stakeholders engagement and technology backcasting development planning. This Imagineering - Strategic Foresight and Ecosystem Design course is offered at Singapore Management University.
Programme Structure
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:- Identify business opportunities in future lifestyles and sustainable development
- Undertake scenario planning during critical uncertainties
- Understand the development of Future Technologies through Technology Backcasting and Ecosystem Design
- Engineer their own/company future in areas of smart cities/sustainable lifestyles
