Overview
What you will study
Possibility Map is a workshop method developed by utilizing the concept of “effectuation”- a logic of thinking that uniquely serves entrepreneurs in starting businesses (new research) and provides a way to control a future that is inherently unpredictable. The MIRAI 2.0 Workshop for greater Impact offered by Linnaeus University focuses on “Bird-in-hand (start with your means)” principals and unpack your ample recourse.
Impact Planning Canvas is a tool for identifying the possible impact and planning for how you can achieve it in the best way. Based on research results and on the researcher’s terms. After an introduction of the concept as well as being introduced to the tool you will have the possibility to use your own research as a base for the exercise.
By combining the Possibility Map and Impact Planning Canvas, the MIRAI Seed Funded teams will be able to unpack the multiple individual resources and discuss the team’s research impact. The participants will be able to identify and sharpen the potential impact of their projects which is a crucial component of research applications (if/when they develop a larger application).
