General requirements
- Basic programming skills: the data science bootcamp require students to have some experience with programming languages such as Python. It is highly recommended to complete the pre-work material prior to starting the bootcamp. The technical interview will ensure that the candidate has the technical knowledge to participate in the program.
- Math and statistics knowledge: Data science involves math and statistics, so a good understanding of these subjects is beneficial.
- Time commitment: The duration of the bootcamp is 12 weeks, Monday to Friday 9-6, (roughly 40 hours per week)
- Strong work ethic: Bootcamps are designed to be challenging, and success requires dedication and hard work.
- Teamwork: Data science involves collaboration with others, so strong communication skills are essential. You should be comfortable asking for help, giving feedback, and working in groups.
