Overview
The Bevan Exemplar Programme is a national programme that supports health and care professionals to develop and implement innovative solutions to improve services and patient outcomes, while the Climb Programme is a leadership development programme for emerging leaders in health and care. This course will offer academic input, pedagogical framing, and assessment mechanisms for experiential learning.This PGCert Advanced Management (Applied Innovation) provides a unique and innovative approach to leadership and management development in the health and care sector, which is essential for meeting the challenges facing the sector today and in the future through research and innovation.If learners, having completed the PGCert, wish to further their studies to a full Master’s degree they will be able to apply for the MSc Advanced Management (Health Innovation and Transformation) by cashing-in their existing credits.
Programme Structure
This course is delivered in a research and practice-led learning environment; where the most up-to-date knowledge is used to motivate and inspire learners; maximizing your learning outcomes. You will become co-creators of research during the PGCert Advanced Management (Applied Innovation).Your learning will be developed through original applications of concepts and models to cases so that you are confident and equipped to deploy your new skills in your own place of work.You will also draw on local, regional, national and international associations and networks. This breadth of research, teaching and professional expertise will serve to greatly enrich your development in the field of innovation and transformation within health and care.

General requirements
Students must be undertaking a relevant experiential learning programme.Students must attain 2:1 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree and any degree subject will be considered. We would also be willing to consider those with other backgrounds and work experience in the sector, in place of the degree entry requirement.Students must also have a minimum of one-year relevant work experience.Non-native speakers must achieve an IELTS score of 6.5 or greater with no component less than 6.0. If you have studied an undergraduate degree taught through the medium of English, you may be exempt from this requirement.
