Classes can often be taken for credit towards degrees at other institutions, and are examined to university standards. To receive credit for King's summer classes, contact your home institution to ask them to award external credit. This class is equivalent to an undergraduate degree module and usually awarded 3-4 US credits or 7.5 ECTS.
Use the King's Undergraduate Summer School to build your knowledge of an existing subject or to study something completely new. Most modules do not require previous knowledge of the subject which provides the opportunity to study courses out of personal interest or explore a subject for the first time.
Modules on the Undergraduate Summer School are taught at first and second undergraduate level although we often see postgraduate students and working professionals on the programme.
Tutors on the King’s Undergraduate Summer School are largely made up of King’s staff however on occasion some external tutors will be utilised to ensure we provide our students with access to a high level of teaching and learning.
