Overview

  • During the program, participants will not only listen to brilliant lectures but will be going out to neighboring urban and suburban areas, and from cities to natures, from the seashore to low, mid, and high mountains, where one will see why and how a small island could be endowed with such high biodiversity.
  • We will also arrange for you to visit the world famous National Palace Museum, Taroko Gorge, Taijiang lagoons, to get hands-on experiences with tea culture, as well as the Chinese calligraphy and Mandarin. You also get a taste of Taiwanese delicacies and even have the chance to make some yourself! Shopping and eating at the night markets is another part of the Taiwanese lifestyle that you will have the chance to experience. Most importantly, you will be taken to many other townships around Taiwan and explore yourself the beauty of the island and feel the hospitality of the locals.

Programme Structure

The Summer +N2 program is composed of 5 main elements :

  • Indoor lectures (>15 lectures )
  • Outdoor activies, hiking, field trips, and institution visits (>20)
  • DIY
  • Hands-on practices and experience
  • Team project and oral presentation (3~5 days).
