You’ll be working from a standard size 12 template (block) and you’ll investigate how to make a range of pattern pieces for the bodice, skirt and sleeve.
You’ll get the opportunity to discuss different styles and how you can alter your patterns to create different shapes.
The Introduction to Womenswear Pattern Cutting course offered at the London College of Fashion will also cover a brief introduction to sizing and how you can modify your patterns for a better fit.
