  • strategic frameworks as they apply to management accounting
  • techniques for making strategic decisions, including capital investment, pricing, and product/service selection
  • financing and risk management approaches
  • management accounting techniques to implement and control strategic decisions such as responsibility reporting, budgeting and performance evaluation

This module is relevant for students wishing to pursue a career in accounting. It is a compulsory module in the BA (Hons) Business Management (Accounting) qualification. Completing the degree does not in itself mean that you are a qualified accountant.
