Overview
Because all types of institutions create and maintain records, there are career opportunities for both archivists and records managers in a variety of settings, including corporations, government agencies, libraries of all types, museums, historical societies, and non-profit organizations and associations.
The Certificate program in Advanced Study in Archives and Records Management from Long Island University (LIU) covers content areas included in certification examinations administered by the Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA) and the Institute of Certified Management (ICRM). This certificate is available both face-to-face and online.
