Student services

Our team of compliance officers is here to help you with basic issues related to student visas and your studies in general.

We will support you by:

  • issuing new eCoEs for approved changes to your course duration
  • referring you to various support services on campus
  • sending newsletters with reminders about updates to student visa conditions and important semester dates.

Housing services

  •  Whether you're looking to join a residential college or set up a shared house off campus, we can offer guidance on student accommodation in Sydney.
  • Once you enrol as a student, you’ll have exclusive access to our off-campus student accommodation database, allowing you to post and respond to ads for shared accommodation.

Library services

The Library consists of 11 individual libraries located across the university's various campuses. According to the library's publications, it is the largest academic library in the southern hemisphere; university statistics show that in 2007 the collection consisted of just under 5 million physical volumes and a further 300,000 e-books, for a total of approximately 5.3 million items.

Studying can be challenging, so it’s important to us that you have access to great help, advice and care, whether it’s a physiotherapist or trained counsellor.

  • If you’re an undergraduate the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) is a student-run body that represents your rights and interests.
  • If you are a postgraduate coursework or research student, the Sydney University Postgraduate Representative Association (SUPRA) provides you with assistance for academic or personal issues that you may experience.
