The University has cooperation agreements with numerous other universities worldwide. The International Office provides an all-round service for international students – from information on admission requirements to help in finding accommodation, advice on all aspects of the student’s study programme and assistance in preparing the return home. The International Office also organises Orientation Weeks before the semester begins as well as cultural events and excursions.
Are you going to be travelling straight from your home country to Fulda? If you are, you will probably find it reassuring to have reserved accommodation before you set off. The International Office can help you to find rented accommodation at special terms and conditions – in publicly owned halls of residence or private apartments.
This accommodation is fully furnished and equipped with bed linen, towels, cooking utensils and cutlery, etc, so you do not need to bring anything like that with you when you move in. You can only rent this kind of accommodation through the International Office.
All students must have health insurance coverage in Germany.
The University has a pleasant campus, with attractive buildings grouped around a central plaza. Everything is just minutes away from everything else. The city centre is in walking distance, about 20 minutes away.
