A lot has changed since we first opened our doors in 1861, originally in Woodland, California. However, since day one, we've been proudly dedicated to the education of all people, and we stand committed to creating an inclusive and more equitable world of opportunity.

Housing services
Residence Life and First Year Experience provides on-campus housing options and off-campus housing resources to undergraduate and graduate students as well as assisting students with this transition into college through academic, leadership, and social programming.
Library services
The Leatherby Libraries offer a full range of services and resources to students and faculty of Chapman University. Features include a study commons and cafe, a 60-station computer lab, 15 group study rooms, multi-media preview rooms, more than 600 seats, capacity for over 300,000 books and bound volumes as well as access to a multitude of online resources.
ICT services
High speed Internet service is available in all campus residence halls and apartments through Ethernet connections in the rooms and wireless access throughout the campus. Public access computers are located in Henley Hall (1st floor study room) and in Sandhu Residence Center (2nd floor across from the elevator).
Medical services
Health and safety of the Chapman Family is a top priority for the University. Our commitment can be seen in the healthy foods and fitness resources we offer, the dedicated public safety, disability services, medical and physiological counseling staff that is on hand daily and the continued support from the administration to make sure everyone's experience at Chapman is enjoyable and safe.
Campus life
Starting on day one at Chapman University, students can seize numerous opportunities to enhance their college experience outside the classroom — socially, spiritually, and physically — all with health and safety in mind. From Broadway-style performances and athletics to cross-cultural initiatives and student life activities, you will find your home with us.
Sports facilities
Chapman University is home to over 500 student-athletes who compete in 21 sports at the NCAA Division III level in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). In addition, Chapman sponsors seven club sports programs ranging from men’s lacrosse to cheerleading. For those not interested in competing on the intercollegiate level, Chapman offers four intramural sports, and open recreation hours and fitness classes for CU students, faculty and staff.

Chapman University is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities (WSCUC). Chapman was first accredited in 1956, and was last reaffirmed February 2014.
