History
The École des Docteurs has a unique dedicated International PhD Office, federated the 15 doctoral schools, providing information, advice and support for PhD candidates wishing to study abroad and international students wishing to enroll in a PhD programmes at the Université de Toulouse.
Education
The students are trained to take up the challenges of the future in many areas: economy, societal issues, energy, transport, information, nutrition... The fact that one graduate in two studying in Toulouse comes from other regions in France or from abroad clearly illustrates the scope of its influence.
Research
The scientific strategy of the University of Toulouse is based on a dual approach consisting in fostering emerging projects and steering strategic research initiatives. It is deployed in three phases:
- identifying the major research strengths of the site
- implementing Strategic Thematic Actions defined in line with the scientific and socio-économic challenges
- structuring the site through Interdisciplinary Institutes to be set-up in 2017
