History
- Created in 1985 by Aida Carange, renowned cinema, make-up artist, Institut Technique du Maquillage (The Technical Institute of make-up), now offers two or three year courses which train professional make-up artists for cinema, theatre, television, fashion and advertising.
Education
- For the teaching staff and all members of the Institute, make-up is part of artistic creation. It is part of a coherent process, where everyone, whether they be in lighting, make-up, scenery or costumes… has his place. It is through his knowledge of entertainment or fashion that the make-up artist can harmoniously integrate his work into an entire creation.
Career
ITM prepares students for entry into their profession through business simulations such as interviews, book presentations, telephone appointments, CV workshops, cover letters or business card design. A training module is dedicated to the steps to follow on leaving the Institute.
