Our main areas of expertise include: data science and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mathematical modeling, image and signal processing, digital innovation, machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), very large networks and systems, cloud and quantum computing, 5G and 6G mobile networks, blockchain, embedded systems and telecommunications.

Télécom Paris offers a highly competitive engineering degree, master's programs, PhD programs, post-master's degrees, certifications and short programs in digital fields. The Masters and PhD programs are now part of the wide range of programs offered by the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

Research

Télécom Paris is at the heart of a unique innovation ecosystem, based on the interaction and interdisciplinary nature of its academic programs, its research center and its incubators.

Student services

Over 40 clubs and associations offer a large variety of activities coordinated by the Student Union. The Union organizes many integration activities and weekend trips with a special focus on international students’ interests.

Students take part in cultural, musical, social, and business events: theater, film festival, dance courses, concerts, sustainable development, Employment forum, digital network/robotics/programming clubs. Festive activities are also a major asset of Télécom Paris student life ..

Sports are of course an important part of student life. Many disciplines are available and coordinated by the Bureau des Sports (Sport Union) and a licensed sports professor.

Housing services

Student housing is available close to the campus or in Paris (Cité Universitaire).

Télécom Paris has agreed upon partnerships with public or private providers to be able to provide affordable accommodation.

A dedicated assistance team helps students secure the best accommodation for their studies at Télécom Paris.

The International Relations team offers welcoming services including a residence permit management assistance.

Library services

Students have free and unrestricted access to the Télécom Paris library spaces and its rich paper and online publications. It is open all day until late even on weekends and holidays.

The library provides over 160 study seats, consultation computers, group work cubicles and 1 cafeteria.

 Students may also access the other IP Paris school libraries.

ICT services

Students benefit from a whole range of IT services including individual account file repository, personal email and agenda account, free access to workstations, photocopying printing services and to the Télécom Paris Internet network. Student also have direct access to their schedule, academic results, course registrations through one unified tool.

Medical services

A school social worker and welfare counselor is available to all students who may need assistance with bursary and financial issues, social issues and any bureaucratic issues & paperwork.

A shool psychologist may as well be contacted for any personal, study-related, or campus life difficulties.

An IP Paris medical centre is available on campus.

Campus life

Télécom Paris is located on the Paris Saclay campus 20 km South-West of Paris. This scientific and business hub is one of the 8 most powerful innovation clusters in the world. It offers an extensive network of scientific, educational and sports facilities.

Télécom Paris is at the center of this unique ecosystem, drawing on the cross-disciplinary nature of its academic programs, research center and two business incubators. Its research carried out within 2 laboratories covers: Data Science and AI, Networks and Systems, Digital Trust, Design-interactions-perception, Mathematical modeling, Digital innovation.

Students have access to a wealth of learning facilities: an e-lab, a fab-lab, a design studio and library.

Sports facilities

Sports are an important part of student life at Télécom Paris. One free afternoon per week enables students to practice. They may choose among 15 disciplines including badminton, gym, handball, sailing, tennis, volleyball, rugby.

Students also have access to the Ecole Polytechnique sport structures: swimming pool, horse riding, etc.

Sports are coordinated by the Bureau des Sports (BDS) which also takes part in the welcoming activities with a special focus on integrating international students.
