History
In a brief historical summary, four stages in the life of the University can be distinguished. During the first, which spans from 1869 to 1911, the following events took place: The school was founded in the city of Pachuca in February 1869 under the name of Literary Institute and School of Arts and Crafts, and on the initiative of a group of professionals.
Education
Comprehensive training is promoted in students and the development of life skills is encouraged, which allow a better understanding of the various problems of the environment and the acquisition of knowledge, skills and values, to transcend disciplinary, cultural, national and international borders, act responsibly in the world in which they have lived and successfully transition to Higher Education.
