IMI Switzerland is a private hospitality and business management school founded in 1991. We offer a comfortable, family atmosphere on campus and personalised learning support and career guidance for every student.
The combination of quality academic teaching, excellent industry contacts and breath-taking scenery are a recipe for success!
Our faculty are all educated to Master's level (or higher) and bring with them a wealth of experience from hospitality and other industries. Small class sizes mean that every student receives the support and attention they need to achieve the best learning outcomes.
We regularly welcome guest lecturers currently working within international firms to share their expertise and up-to-date knowledge with students. The ensures our graduates are "future-proofed" to meet the demands of employers and achieve rapid career progression within their chosen fields.
IMI has been helping students from across the world to achieve their career goals and personal potential. Although vocational education and training has been at the core of what we do, we recognise that research is also of equal importance. At IMI we believe that excellence in teaching should be complemented by excellence in applied research outputs.
Our aim is to undertake rigorous research that advances academics' understanding about the management of hospitality and tourism organisations, addresses the needs of organisations and policy makers as well as enhances teaching and learning practices.
We guarantee to find job opportunities for all our graduates. You will be first when it comes to paid practical training opportunities in Switzerland or abroad.
Our excellent reputation with major international hotel chains and industry leaders means that companies come to IMI to recruit high quality students for their management training programmes and future leadership roles.
With alumni working in leadership positions around the globe, we offer an international network of industry professionals for our students to utilise on their career pathways.
