Overview
During the Combination Course at Centre of English Studies you will work on improving the skills involved with speaking, listening, reading and writing, so that you can improve your comprehension and communicate more freely.
Learning outcomes
- You will also work on your linguistic knowledge, increasing your vocabulary and deepening your understanding of the grammar and structure of the language. Courses at CES are communicative and task-based, using a core text book, the most up to date technology and authentic materials.
Programme Structure
Course include:
- You will receive expert tuition and ongoing feedback from your teachers in order for you to make rapid and lasting progress. With access to the CES Online Learning Platform, you will be able to plan your studies to make the most of your stay.
- There are two afternoons a week of one-to-one lessons, designed to meet the individual requirements of each student.
- Prior to the first one-to-one session, students complete a Needs Analysis which helps the teacher to plan the one-to-one lessons according to the student’s specific needs. Teachers then work closely with the student to ensure these needs are being met. All students receive a final report detailing their progress and outlining future areas for attention.
