What's in store?

The Introduction to Economics event from the University of Warwick provides an exciting opportunity to discover more about economics as a subject, experience an interactive taster lecture delivered by the Department of Economics, 

University of Warwick and hear from current undergraduate students about what it's like to study economics at university. There will also be a chance to hear from economists about the wide-ranging work they do and the possible career opportunities open to economics graduates.

Students will also be able to gain useful advice and guidance on how to apply for university, including how to draft a personal statement as well as having the opportunity to ask questions to an Admissions Tutor.

  • There are no prerequisites for this course. This course is open to anyone who is curious about studying Economics. 
  • We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including students who are currently studying another subject but who want to broaden their knowledge in another discipline. 
  • Students should also meet our standard entry requirements and must be aged 18 or over by the time the Summer School commences and have a good understanding of the English language.
