The school intends to present some selected tools that can help humanist in their researches and activities, taking advantage of the digital turn and the new technologies.Particular attention is given this year to useful tools for the cultural heritage in organizing and managing digital collections.

The School is addressing all those interested in getting basic and working knowledge of some of the digital tools available today to scholars in many different fields of the Humanities.

Programme Structure

The topics in the 2022 edition will include:

  • Introduction to Digital Humanities
  • Designing and managing a project in DH
  • Digital collections and digital libraries
  • Enhancing and enriching a Digital Archive
  • Linked Open Data for the Digital Humanities
  • Organizing virtual exhibitions
  • GIS - Geographical Information Systems
