Hungarian as a foreign language is taught at five different levels from beginner to advanced. Students can choose language courses at different intensities from 2 to 8 hours per week. During the fall semester we offer pronunciation practice in a language lab.
Hungarian Language and Culture Preparatory Programme at University of Szeged starts with an orientation week to help students prepare for their studies.
Besides practical issues, at the beginning of the fall semester, students participate in a cultural sensitization training that familiarizes them with the new culture and learning environment and offers ways of overcoming potential problems.
At the end of the spring semester, students are eligible for reduced pricing to attend the 4-week intensive Summer University organized by the Hungarian Studies Center.
