Anyone involved in the development or creation of websites or apps should learn Javascript. It is a very powerful scripting language which can read and alter HTML elements, verify data, and react to key events; like a mouse click or a key press on your keyboard.
JavaScript
Adding more interactivity to static HTML pages is the main purpose behind Javascript. Things like popup windows, dropdown menus, countdown timers and embedded clocks are examples of Javascript elements on a HTML page. Javascript is embedded within HTML code and runs on the user’s browser – this is known as a client-side scripting language. There is a downside to this though; all your Javascript code can be seen by the user – so it can be copied and used somewhere other than your site. Meaning you cannot license your Javascript code.
