Overview
Aimed at aspiring filmmakers with little or no previous film making experience, The Complete Filmmaking Course at the Arts University Bournemouth offers a hands-on practical introduction to writing, shooting, directing, and editing your own films.
You’ll master the essential skills and get to grips with every aspect of filmmaking under the expert guidance of practising university and industry professionals.
What you will learn
Each week you’ll take part in practical workshops, talks, and demonstrations that cover different aspects of filmmaking, as well as specialist editing sessions, to equip you with the skills to produce highly polished and professional films, from concept to final cut.
This includes pre-filming elements such as story, script development, planning, shot lists, and storyboarding. Equally you’ll cover aspects of being on set, including directing, technical lighting, health and safety considerations, and camera work.
