Overview

The Advanced Product Management course from the RMIT University will equip you with robust professional skills in product innovation, lifecycle management, commercial acumen, product economics, and data-driven decisions. You will learn to develop and justify a business case and commercial model, produce and present data visualisations to show key insights and explain your strategic decisions, coordinate a process to generate ideas, gather feedback and ideate product solutions as well as develop a strategy to support the product through its lifecycle. 

This course has been built with leading industry partners REA, Concentrix Catalyst and Telstra so you can feel confident that what you’re studying is best practice and aligned with the desired skillset in the industry.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to: 

  • Develop and justify a business case and commercial model to support product recommendations 
  • Produce and present data visualisations to show key insights and explain your strategic decisions 
  • Coordinate a process to generate ideas, gather feedback and ideate product solutions using customers and your organisation as key stakeholders 
  • Develop a strategy to support the product throughout the lifecycle including decline and justify your approach
