Overview
Introductory Mathematics at University of California, Riverside is aligned with the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements to teach departmentalized classes to math grades 9 and below. The Supplementary Authorization in Introductory Mathematics is not No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Compliant. Additional units are needed to meet the Federal Regulation requirements for subject matter competency, with individual district approval.
